Why did you decide to purchase an E.I. Medical Imaging ultrasound?

“We decided to stop renting an ultrasound from our vet, who was using an E.I. Medical Imaging ultrasound, and buy our own. We wanted to keep all the reproductive procedures and management in-house on our dairy. Someone who has A.I. breeding experience or palpation skills can definitely learn how to ultrasound with some practice.

We have had our ultrasound for 6-7 years and the biggest advantage working with E.I. Medical Imaging is that they provide a loaner system so if you damage your scanner or have a maintenance issue you know you can have a loaner to use to keep out of trouble. To me that’s everything! Why did you decide to purchase an E.I. Medical Imaging ultrasound?

“We really liked the fact that their service is so great. Anytime we have questions or concerns, their tech support has always been there. Especially if we had any problem with our machine, which we rarely have. At the very beginning, we had some technical skill issues with me just getting used to the new machine. They came out and helped, which was great!

The other thing I like about it is I’m a shorter stature person and in terms of me doing dairy cattle work it’s really important for me to have an ultrasound machine during my herd checks. I like the fact that’s it’s very portable. The size is great -- it’s extremely lightweight and really easy on my back. That along with the technical support are what definitely sold me on E.I.
